Demstock 2021
Pine Dems participated in Demstock 2021, which was held in Somerset County. Demstock brings together Democrats in rural counties of Western PA. As Pine Township borders largely rural Butler County and has a special relationship with the Butler County Democratic Committee, we felt compelled to attend and support our like-minded friends in Butler Co. and elsewhere. We set up a merch booth, enjoyed a barbecue dinner, and spoke with Senator Bob Casey and Senate candidates John Fetterman and Conor Lamb. We also enjoyed meeting candidates from other counties, including a courageous 18-year-old woman named Lavender.
